Bing Maps API

Use HTML and JavaScript in Visual Studio to use the Bing Maps API! In this project, you'll learn how to access the Bing Maps API and then add the necessary code to make it display map results for different types of location searches on a sample site! Get a Bing Maps API key, learn about callback functions, and how one can get third party data for the map!

To create this project, follow these steps:

  1. Install Visual Studio Community Edition if you don't have it yet.
  2. Download the Bing Maps API project files from GitHub.
  3. Follow along with the Office Mix presentation here to get the code you need and make your site!
