Create Binary Break-In

Use C# in Visual Studio with the Unity editor to complete Binary Break-In, a game where a safecracker needs in-depth binary number knowledge to open the safe. Use bitshifts in the code to convert numbers, and then learn to use Unity’s animation state diagram for triggering specific animations on events.

To create this project, follow these steps:

  1. Download and install Unity 5.2 or higher if you don't have it.
  2. If you don't have Visual Studio, choose to install Visual Studio 2015 Community Edition while installing Unity. This will also install Visual Studio 2015 Tools for Unity for you.
  3. Once both Unity and Visual Studio are done installing, download the Binary Break-In files on GitHub.
  4. Follow along with the Office Mix presentation here to begin creating and coding!
